My team is involved in reaching out to the refugees who are traveling up through Serbia into Croatia. We go and work at the transfer points where there are thousands coming and going each day. So far we have found the refugees very eager to receive New Testaments and other booklets in their own languages. We usually ask who speaks English and begin a conversation with them – where they are from, how long they have been traveling, who are they with, what language they speak, etc.. Then we show them our Bibles or other literature and ask if they would like one. So far almost nobody has declined. They have nothing else to read in their own language so they are very grateful to receive a Bible. When others see that we are giving out something they get curious. A crowd will form as they press in to receive one of their own. They often begin reading immediately. I believe this is a good seed sowing opportunity. So far we have received our Arabic NT from a Hungarian organization. Unfortunately they had very few on hand and they have run out. So we are in need of some more.
